Jackson Park

Innisfil – 2026

Named in honour of Brian Jackson, Innisfil’s longest-serving mayor, Jackson Park is a 3.3-hectare community park designed as a recreational and social hub for the growing Lakehaven community.

A looping multi-use trail forms the organizing framework for the park, connecting a series of destinations while framing views and creating a sense of discovery. A custom playground tower creates a playful landmark at the western entrance, balanced at the east by a picnic pavilion inspired by Innisfil’s agricultural heritage, colourful shade sails referencing the Town’s visual identity, and an outdoor fitness circuit.

Between these anchors, a generous central green provides flexible space for informal recreation, community use and winter tobogganing. Extensive tree planting extends the character of the adjacent mature woodland into the park, creating a diverse urban canopy that will increasingly provide shade, habitat and spatial definition as the landscape matures.

Together, the interconnected trails, distinct activity areas and flexible central landscape create a varied park experience designed to serve the recreational and social needs of the surrounding community.
