David Wood

David is recognized for his professional leadership in the fields of landscape architecture and urban design and has fostered trusted relationships with local municipalities, review authorities, and developers throughout the Georgian Triangle area. With 24 years of professional practice, David has a uniquely broad range of expertise founded on experience practicing in Toronto, Australia and Newfoundland. Since establishing Envision-Tatham Inc. in 2002, he has grown the company in partnership with C.C. Tatham & Associates Ltd. and has successfully lead a talented multi-disciplinary team through the design and implementation of a diverse range of public and private sector projects. David’s commitment to quality, his passion for people, and his management abilities has resulted in an impressive portfolio of successful public realm, resort and community design projects.  The public are at the core of David’s motivation which is apparent in his passion and expertise in public consultation and engagement. David has also developed long standing relationships with various municipalities, advising on landscape related planning issues, landscape development standards and guidelines, and providing development review services

David holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and is a Full Member (with Seal) of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects. He also volunteers his time to the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) as juror for the Awards of Excellence Program (2012 – present).

Alison Bond
Landscape Architect & Arborist

Alison has seventeen years landscape architectural and arboricultural experience providing her with a diverse background in project management, design, construction inspection, and contract administration for both public and private sector clients. Alison joined the firm during its founding year and has become a core team member rounding out the company’s skills with a solid foundation of arboricultural,  ecological, naturalization, and planting expertise. Alison’s professional focus is on the sustainable integration of urban and natural landscapes. Her various degrees in landscape architecture and botany combined with her arboricultural certifications, provides Alison with a unique knowledge and perspective not shared by many other professionals. She is able to assess arboricultural and planting issues in context of development and provide a balanced approach in reconciling their sometimes competing objectives. Further to her design work, Alison provides her expertise to various municipalities providing development review and inspection services related to landscape and tree preservation works, in support of the development review process.

Alison is a Full Member (with Seal) of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects. She is also an ISA certified arborist and is an accredited Butternut and Tree Risk Assessor.

Andrea Legere
Landscape Architectural Intern

Andrea joined Envision- Tatham in 2016 after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Masters in Environmental Studies. To complement her environmental focus, Andrea also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph (2013).  The combination of these backgrounds provides Andrea with a unique perspective on land development and sustainability.

Further to her environmental background, Andrea is also a very capable design team member who is proficient in production software such as AutoDesk AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, In-Design and Illustrator and Sketch-Up.  Andrea exemplifies her critical thinking and strong organizational skills through her design and drafting and is a valued member of our support team.

Erika Bullock 

Landscape Architect

After working in Kelowna BC for the past couple years, Erika has returned to Ontario to join the Envision-Tatham team.  Applying skills attained through her Masters in Landscape Architecture (University of Guelph) and undergraduate degree in accounting, Erika has established herself as a valuable project contributor through her thoughtful management approach and unique design perspectives.  Erika’s career interests in urban design and active transportation stem from her passion for cities and her commitment to cycling and walkable communities principles.  Following exploration and observation of various cities around the world, this commitment resulted in her Master’s thesis, which was focused on improving bicycle networks and increasing winter cycling rates. Professionally, this has carried through to her contributions on various parks, trails, and wayfinding master plan studies in British Columbia and now through her design work at Envision-Tatham, where she continues to apply her skills and evolve her perspectives on an assortment of urban design, transportation, parks, and community development projects throughout Ontario.

Alyssa Staples

Landscape Architectural Intern

Alyssa joined Envision-Tatham as a Landscape Architectural Intern after graduating from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture.  Alyssa is a well-rounded team member offering a thoughtful and enthusiastic approach to her work, which is both creative and practical.

At Envision-Tatham, Alyssa supports projects through her much valued design, drafting, and project coordination skills and through the preparation of graphic design and visualization resources.  She is skillful in software such as AutoDesk AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In-Design, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and Sketch-up.
