Poplar Sideroad Roundabout, Collingwood

In 2010 Poplar Sideroad in Collingwood was upgraded to service new residential neighbourhoods and support local by-pass traffic, resulting in the implementation of the Town’s first urban roundabout at the intersection of High Street. Working collaboratively with our engineers, Envision-Tatham provided design services for the pedestrian spaces, crossings, and planting that support the roundabout. Further to improved traffic flow, the roundabout provides an attractive gateway into the southwest end of Collingwood that provides the urban structure to support the evolution of surrounding lands into vibrant residential neighbourhoods.
