Collingwood Labyrinth

Based on the famous Chartres Cathedral labyrinth in France, the Collingwood Labyrinth is a testament to the passion and hard work of the Collingwood Labyrinth Committee and is a stunning example of its kind. Set within Collingwood’s Harbourview Park on the shores of Georgian Bay, the labyrinth provides an powerful contemplative experience that offers a refreshing contrast to our busy day-to-day lives. Built from the bricks salvaged from Collingwood’s Downtown Heritage Conservation District, a link is created with the community’s past, infusing the labyrinth with an even deeper power and meaning.  Envision-Tatham was honoured to serve this group of volunteers through the design of this unique public space. Through the vision of the Committee, the support of the Town, and the talents of the various contractors that contributed their ideas and expertise, this project evolved into something that is truly special. The Collingwood Labyrinth serves to reminds us of the power of community, as the project was entirely conceived, funded, and successfully executed through the hard work of the Committee and the generous contributions of many local donors.
