President

David is recognized for his professional leadership in the fields of landscape architecture, site planning, and urban design and has fostered trusted relationships with local municipalities, review authorities, and developers throughout the Georgian Triangle area. With 25 years of professional practice, David has a uniquely broad range of expertise that is founded on his past experience working in Australia, Newfoundland, and Toronto.

Since establishing Envision-Tatham Inc. in 2002, he has grown the company in partnership with Tatham Engineering Ltd. and has successfully led a talented multi-disciplinary team through the design and implementation of a diverse range of public and private sector projects.  David’s commitment to quality, his passion for people, and his management abilities have resulted in an impressive portfolio of successful public realm, residential community, and resort design projects.

People are at the core of David’s motivation which is apparent in his passion and expertise in public consultation and engagement.  David has also developed long standing relationships with various municipalities, advising on site planning and landscape related planning issues, by-laws, development standards and guidelines, and providing development peer review services.

David holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and is a Full Member (with Seal) of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects.

Alison Bond

Landscape Architect & Arborist
Alison has seventeen years landscape architectural and arboricultural experience providing her with a diverse background in project management, design, construction inspection, and contract administration for both public and private sector clients. Alison joined the firm during its founding year and has become a core team member rounding out the company’s skills with a solid foundation of arboricultural,  ecological, naturalization, and planting expertise. Alison’s professional focus is on the sustainable integration of urban and natural landscapes. Her various degrees in landscape architecture and botany combined with her arboricultural certifications, provides Alison with a unique knowledge and perspective not shared by many other professionals. She is able to assess arboricultural and planting issues in context of development and provide a balanced approach in reconciling their sometimes competing objectives. Further to her design work, Alison provides her expertise to various municipalities providing development review and inspection services related to landscape and tree preservation works, in support of the development review process.

Alison is a Full Member (with Seal) of the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects. She is also an ISA certified arborist and is an accredited Butternut and Tree Risk Assessor.

Stephanie Lapointe

Landscape Architectural Intern

Stephanie is a Landscape Architectural Intern at Envision-Tatham with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a Certificate of Environmental Conservation from the University of Guelph (2017). Prior to joining Envision-Tatham, Stephanie worked in the Waterloo Region developing her professional skills in design, enhanced visual communication and contract administration. With an interest in the public realm, she has gained her experience through a wide variety of projects including national tourist destinations, parks, and sport fields.

Stephanie is a team player and supports our team through design, drafting, and project coordination. She is proficient in production software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe, InDesign, SketchUp, and Lumion.

Grace Christie

Landscape Architectural Intern

Grace is a Landscape Architectural Intern at Envision-Tatham with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph.

Her professional interests are in public space and community design, healthy living through recreation, and planning for long term sustainability.  These interests build upon her academic studies, where she explored inclusiveness through design and therapeutic recreation and play for children with developmental disabilities.  Prior to joining Envision-Tatham, Grace gained student work experience at the City of Niagara Falls and developed her skills and interests in park design and construction. 

Grace is thoughtful designer and through her creative and practical approach, she supports our projects through much valued design, drafting, and project coordination skills and through the preparation of graphic design and visualization resources.

Alex Luong

Landscape Architectural Intern

Alex joined Envision-Tatham after graduating from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture.  Alex is a well-rounded team member offering a thoughtful and enthusiastic approach to his work, which is both creative and practical. 

At Envision-Tatham, Alex supports projects through his much-valued design, drafting, and project coordination skills and through the preparation of graphic design and visualization resources.  He is skillful in software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-Design, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, Sketch-up and Enscape.
